Imagine being told “I wouldn’t care if you were purple with a lizard tail, I’d love you regardless”.  While it sounds metaphorical or exaggerated, they serve to reassure the person coming out that they are valued and supported for who they truly are. These statements can help create a safe and supportive environment for the individual to be open about their identity.

My use of monochromatic colors to create depth in facial features makes some of the paintings look 3D.
