In my artistry, I seek to unveil the allure within the ordinary, each piece an ode to the beauty found in the mundane. Embracing a fluid approach, I allow the creative process to unfold organically, letting each stroke and stitch find its place in the tapestry of creations.
Every canvas that I paint on or paper that I draw on, bears its own unique narrative, a microcosm of intricacies waiting to be discovered. Together, they weave a continuous story, enticing viewers to embark on a journey of perpetual exploration and revelation.
The Black Women’s Affinity Group Presents: Restoring Black Women
This exhibition at Madison College – Madison, WI, in February 2024, was a month-long exhibition hosted by Madison College - Black Women Affinity Group featuring multiple artist who highlight the experiences of Black women in multiple mediums, through multiple lenses, welcoming a diversity of expression.
Midwest Mujeres: Be Bold Take the Mic
This event, titled Yo Quiero Dinero, trained women of color to share their stories and journies to economic empowerment. In this event, I painted live on stage while talking about how coloring outside the lines, literally and metaphorically, helped me survive the racial and gender wage gap, and brought me to and through pivotal times in your life
